Liked: The house is absolutely spectacular with an incredible location near Niagara Falls, Ontario. Our room was beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable. Our favorite time was spent with Miss Helena, the special person that you meet along the way. Her breakfasts' were elaborate and very delicious. She absolutely went out of her way to provide advice, routes and special things to do away from the more touristy area of Niagara Falls. We cannot say enough about this very special place.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing! We didn't want to leave.

Wonderful stay.

Liked: If you ever have the opportunity to visit Niagara Falls, Canadian side, look no further than the Lion’s Head! From the moment we entered this meticulous home we felt welcomed and comfortable. Our host was so gracious and accommodating throughout our stay and made the most amazing breakfasts. She was very knowledgeable and helped us maneuver our way to many interesting sites. Our location was perfect with walking distance to everything. We truly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home with a wonderful host. We highly recommend this lovely B&B!

Liked: Helena was a great host. The property was immaculate, we stayed in the Gaugin bedroom, bed was excellent w/private bathroom. Her daily breakfast was delicious. The location was walking distance to all attractions. We will definitely return.

Liked: The location was great. It was a few minutes walk from the GO station and about a 10 minute walk to the falls. The room was bright and big. The draw back is that there was no breakfast served.
Disliked: There was no breakfast served

Helena was the perfect host...

Liked: Helena the owner is the most interesting person I have ever met, she was such a good host and we were in awe of her stories from past over a cup of coffee once she had given us a tour of her amazing property. Our room, the Queen Suite was in the basement with our own access, it was immaculately clean and the bed was super comfy, there was plenty of room for me and my adult daughter and all our stuff. The B&B was a 5 minute walk from our first sighting of the falls at Niagara. Great location, lovely rooms (all of them as we were shown them on the tour of the house). So glad we cancelled Days Inn and booked The Lions Head instead.
Disliked: We didn't like having to check out to come home.

Very uncomfortable

Liked: Nothing - horrible place to stay. The location was close enough to the falls
Disliked: Tons of bugs, yelling owner, hot rooms, uncomfortable rooms, and did not feel safe.

Awful

Disliked: I was spoken to like a child by the owner for her error. She humiliated me in front of my boyfriend She did not provide me with the check in information or with the correct PIN number for the room. When we rang the doorbell, she told me to go and read the email and follow the instructions. I was told that it was not ok to ring the doorbell as it was self check in and I should have known that if I read the instructions. I was confused, but she just told us to meet her at the back and then shut the door in my face. When we got to the back door, we tried to enter the only PIN number I had. She would not open the door until we got it right. She said “you need to figure this out! What would you do if I wasn’t here”. My boyfriend spoke up and said this is getting ridiculous, just tell us the correct PIN number and let us in. When she finally opened the door, I showed her the pin I received. It was obvious to her that she did not provide the correct details. She looked at the booking information and realized that she did not email me. I called her earlier in the week to confirm and she said nothing about special instructions to access the unit. She told me she would be here when we arrive, we went to the front door as we were not told do anything else. I was really shocked by her bad attitude. By the time she realizes she has made the error, the damage had been done. I was shaking with anger. Not the welcoming experience I was expecting. The light in the hallway was burnt out and we could not see in the dark walking up 3 flights of stairs. Not good enough. I thought we would have access to the b&& but we only had access to the back entrance to the room. In the pictures and description, it states the b&b has a common area for guest, but we were not welcome to utilize this area. I was very disappointed. It ruined our holiday. I felt resentful paying so much money to be treated so badly.
