Liked: The location was very convenient and nicely located in the village walking distance to restaurants. The owners have a beautiful home and our room was beautifully decorated and well stocked with anything we needed for a wonderful night stay. We relaxed in the evening on the back patio and enjoyed wonderful conversation with the owners. We could have talked all evening with them. We awoke the next morning and had a delicious breakfast cooked to order. We were pleasantly surprised with how the stay exceeded our expectations. We just booked one night since it was a nice stop on our journey but in the end we both felt that we would have loved to make our stay here longer.
Disliked: The only thing that could be considered a "negative" would be the bed was too firm for our liking but that is a personal preference and I do not consider that a negative mark on the property.

Full marks for these wonderful...

Liked: Stayed one night. Very welcoming hosts, comfy room and a great breakfast. They really had thought of all those little details, such as a bedside clock and a magnifying mirror. And there was even a bidet in the shower room. The full English breakfast included locally produced bacon and sausages. To start, there was the option of a fresh fruit mixture (including strawberries and blueberries) with plain or fruit yogurt, as well as healthy cereals and seeds. Home made jam and marmalade was on offer, as well as home made wholemeal bread. It wasn't quite warm enough to have breakfast outside in their lovely courtyard with its ancient stone wall, but we enjoyed sitting there in the evening near their pond.
Disliked: Traffic noise from the nearby A303

Liked: Everything about our stay was lovely. Surroundings, grounds and run by the most charming couple.

Liked: Liz was incredibly accommodating and the bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean.

Liked: Very comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, dedicated parking. Excellent breakfast, host friendly and flexible.
