VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!

Liked: Friendly waitresses
Disliked: Very disappointed!!! The word Resort drew us, BUT Room was tired, rotten door frames to balcony. Black mould on mosaic tiles in shower base, shocking siliconing around edges, shower leaked onto bathroom floor. Room Safe didn't lock, carpet smelled old and dirty. In dining room all tables had sticky residue. White vinegar and water in spray bottles would do a much better job. All fabric chairs in dining were disgusting for a 'Resort'!!! All big stains. This destination needs a HUGE makeover. Owners obviously don't have their heart in it. So lacking in MAINTENANCE! Rotten plant boxes at entrance - not at all welcoming!!!

Overnighter for Concert in Llangollen

Liked: Loved the leisure facilities on site..Grounds well maintained and pleasant.Close proximity to the canal and nice outdoor areas to sit on a sunny day.
Disliked: The hotel was tired looking and in need of some tlc. There were scuff marks on the walls in the bedroom the dining room needed a good clean as the pedestals on the table were scuffed and dirty also dusty skirtings etc.

Liked: We attended a wedding ,all was good although I did book 2 rooms and the other room was not acceptable unfortunately but my daughter was moved and the room was then good .
Disliked: Listening to everyone else who were staying moan about different things

Exceptional

Liked: Excellent room overlooked canal with beautiful views. Lovely setting. Beautiful gardens. Reasonable restaurant prices. Couldn't have wished for more .

Disliked: We was there as party of a wedding partyThe room for the price was very basic bathroom was small Out bed was very uncomfortable as it had a huge dip in the middleThe fan worked then didnt then didMost of the facilities in the spa weren't open to useJust feel robbed of a lot of money paid and didnt enjoy our stay
