Excellent value, very clean and...
Liked: Guest House is nicely located overlooking the coast with excellent sea views from the room. Binoculars left by the window if you fancy a bit of a closer look at anything and on a nice day you can see a fair distance too.
My room (number 1) was very well presented and Angela showed me up to it personally. Very clean and modern looking and obvious that extra effort has gone in to ensuring guests are as comfortable or even more so than they would be in a more expensive hotel.
Bathroom was compact with a shower rather than a bath (I personally prefer a shower) so worth keeping in mind if you are a guest who wants access to a bath. Again, the bathroom was clean and modern looking.
Bed very comfortable too and only thing I noticed that was slightly lacking was power outlets with one near the bed and a second behind the table that was a little difficult to access. By no means a complaint, just that I needed to charge 2 mobile phones and have one near the bed as an alarm. I've been used to finding sockets with built-in USB sockets of late so have probably been spoilt LOL.
Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, yogurt and cooked items available. I had mentioned that I was a coeliac so was delighted to see that gluten free items were available without issue.
Overall an excellent 1 night stay and would happily stop over again when working in the area. Paid £70 via Booking.com so more than happy in value terms too.
