Beautiful Hotel inside, ignore the...

Liked: Room was beautifully clean, spacious, bed was lovely, bathroom was very clean, very well laid out, tv was clean and a good sized screen. Layout of the hotel was very well thought out, although more than one accessible room should be offered, the one you had was booked for the duration of our stay. Over all the staff were lovely and professional, the cleaning ladies were phenomenal, the whole hotel was clean and fresh looking. A very nice stay in a lovely hotel, just look past the tired outdoor decor.
Disliked: The outside of the property looked like it had been poorly maintained, paint was cracking and looked dirty. Breakfast was dry and tasted like it had sat for 2 hours under a hot plate. The waitress was rushed off her feet. The shower head was covered in limescale, all problems that could have been easily fixed. We didn’t stay in the restaurant for our evening meal as the prices were extortionate, and going by the quality of the breakfast, we decided to stay clear.

Liked: The location to town..Also we had friends staying in the caravan park at.the beach so a short stroll to see them.
Disliked: No pressure in the shower.so tried having a bath it drained just after going in so new plug needed in the bath.

Liked: The food was great, served by a wonderful staff who were attentive, friendly and professional.Downstairs decor in the reception was lovely.. All the staff were great. The bedrooms were clean.
Disliked: Sadly the hotel needs some TLC.. The Dining room toilets were very dated. Our room had a number of concerns, with a matress that you could feel the springs, a telephone that didn't function, a bath that wasn’t attached to the wall, with tape around the bath handle and temperamental water temperatures in the shower. The balcony was a nice touch but the lack of any outside furniture rendered it useless which was a shame as the weather was glorious.Oh, and the cleaning staff should look up when using a feather duster to clean away the spiders webs in the hallways and our room.

Liked: Very nice room and facilities. Some bathroom fitments a little tired, but all-in-all, a comfortable, well appointed room. Breakfasts and dining good.
