Very good

Liked: Location near Chicago, connected to a golf course, friendly staff!
Disliked: They didn’t have servers enough to service the number of people in the pool for the long weekend. Although the two serving us were very friendly, they were not able to attend to every one within an acceptable time. Management should look at that.

Liked: Nice pool and nice restaurants.
Disliked: Pre paid for my stay, at checking in Marriott ran my card for incidentals, and put a hold on my card for the full stay again...plus incidentals. So for my 5 day stay I was in over 3k! Couldn't use the money for my stay! I was assured for 3 of the days it was being released and would fall off from hotel staff and corporate Marriott. Only to find out on day 4, that they did the release wrong because it was a debit card and had to redo do it! I saved all year for this trip with my kids and with a single swip and mistake on Marriotts end, they put a huge damper on my 5 day stay. So disappointed.

Adequate but wouldn't rush back

Liked: Staff all friendly and despite limited English, the man who serviced our room was very accommodating.Did not have time to use the pools or spa, but looked nice.Beds small but comfy.Nice to have a walk in shower rather than over bath.
Disliked: Charging for WiFi is a shock and I didn't know any hotels still did this.The facilities in the room were inadequate in terms of power outlets (need on both sides of the bed) and seating. For a room that officially accommodated 4, it only had seats for 2.A glass door for the bathroom caused light intrusion for sleeping roommates if used in the middle of the night.Disappointed to find the bar not open every night.

Pool very dirty. Green Scum...

Liked: Responsive staff. Lounge club worth it. Good food.
Disliked: Pool very dirty. Green Scum along edges and little routine pool maintenance. Also swimming lessons from 4-8 and the whole reason we stayed was the pool so during this time half the pool was closed off for small child lessons. Very frustrating
