Liked: The lovely Limefield House host was super kind and accomodating. The room was clean, the whole bathroom was newly renovated and very fancy. We felt very safe and the beds were comfortable.

Lovely relaxing place to stay.

Liked: Beautifully renovated manor house in the country 45 mins from Edinburgh central, settled among some magnificent old trees. Excellent breakfast - lots of choices -cooked, fresh fruit, yogurt and cereal, pastries etc., The place is meticulously clean, beds super comfortable and host Greig most charming and knowledgeable.
Disliked: It's nearly finished but once renovations are complete it will be even better! Although I suspect it's an endless job on such a grand old lady.You probably need a car although the train is close.

Enjoyable stay whilst visiting family

Liked: Large bedroom, comfy bed,excellent bed linen, great communication with owner and breakfast was very enjoyable , large grounds with parking 5 minute drive to Livingston centre
Disliked: Poor signage from road and confusing signs along drive ( 2 signs both stating private property ) no sign saying reception 🤔this would certainly not stop us from staying again but was certainly confusing as we drove in
