Amazing hospitality and fantastic breakfast
Liked: The host Karen was very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the view from our room out to the fields with sheep and the hills in the background. There were freshly made scones in our room when we arrived which were delicious. There was an exceptionally generous breakfast cooked to perfection. It was genuine farmhouse hospitality and we would definitely return!

Glad we found this lovely...
Liked: Breakfast was superb, couldn’t have been better. Plenty of fresh fruit, yoghurts, plenty of tea, coffee & juices. There wasn’t anything that could have been better. Our hosts were Frank & Karen, they were a pleasure to talk to.

Only one night and I...
Liked: Superb B&B just outside Barnard Castle in the quiet of the countryside. We booked to stay as we had tickets to see a show at the Whitham in Barnard Castle and it was a really easy commute back and forth from the show. Karen the host was lovely and the room was spotless with fantastic views of the farm and the countryside. The fresh scone on arrival was beautiful as was the fresh fruit and cooked breakfast the next morning. The bed was comfortable and the room had a lovely cosy feel.
Disliked: Can't think of anything.

Overnight stay on a farm...
Liked: It was the little extras that made our stay so enjoyable: the homemade scones and jam, the homemade biscuits and fresh ground coffee and chocolates! Plenty of farm animals and wild visitors, the ducks, the hare and many pheasants.Situated in very quiet countryside just off A66 and Barnard Castle.
Disliked: Nothing all was good!
