Cozy, romantic, quiet, and quaint

Liked: The breakfast was amazing. I went to culinary school in the 90s. So it’s very difficult for me to get excited about anyone else’s cooking. But their scrambled eggs were a revelation.
Disliked: Caulking around spa in room and floor up to shower. And deck and stairs to the entrance. I do home maintenance for a living. So I pick places apart. Perhaps way more than others. So if that’s my biggest complaint. We’ll call that a champagne problem

We’ll definitely stay there again!

Liked: The owner Jim was very hospitable. Breakfast was delicious!
Disliked: Better curtains on the sliding glass door ( which was the actual door on this unit) They weren’t quite wide enough.

Some guests need special accommodations....

Liked: Nice setting.
Disliked: The jacuzzi tub did not work. There were ladybugs on the floor. It wasn’t as clean as it should be.

Disappointed

Liked: It was disappointing.
Disliked: Triple room was not a triple room, very small. Mattress was broke down, caused both of us considerable back pain the next morning.Mislead about charge for pet, online it said no charge just let them know if you're bringing a dog.Asked for over easy eggs for breakfast and got Sunnyside up instead.

The host is so friendly...

Liked: Great location, right between Columbus and Nashville- perfect to visit both. Loved the soaking tub and beds were comfy.
Disliked: The driveway gets a little tricky when it’s snowy/ icy.

Serene getaway

Liked: We enjoyed the Jacuzzi, canopy bed, fireplace, and the country breakfast.The hosts were excellent with their hospitality.
Disliked: No hooks to hang robes, clothes.

The price was reasonable and...

Liked: The breakfast was fabulous, I’m still trying to perfect my own scrambled eggs to replicate their’s! It was also really convenient to wake up and have breakfast being made for me on the same property.
Disliked: The only thing I’d say I didn’t like is that we didn’t book soon enough to choose our room, unfortunately. I would’ve loved to book the room with the jacuzzi for my husband and I to use on our honeymoon.
