Liked: Our stay at the Lightner Farmhouse B&B was nothing short of enchanting. Nestled just outside Gettysburg, this historic gem offered the perfect blend of serenity, charm, and heartfelt hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like old friends by Steve and Teresa, whose warmth and knowledge of the area added depth to every conversation.The farmhouse itself is steeped in Civil War history, and you can feel its spirit in every lovingly preserved detail. Our room was immaculate and thoughtfully appointed, with garden views that made mornings feel like poetry in motion.Breakfasts were a highlight—homemade, beautifully presented, and tailored to dietary needs with care. Whether it was fresh fruit, gluten-free options, or a decadent French toast casserole, each meal felt like a celebration of comfort and connection.If you’re seeking a place that nourishes both body and spirit, Lightner Farmhouse is it. It’s not just a stay—it’s a heartfelt experience.This will definitely be our go to place again!!!

Wonderful experience
Liked: Breakfast was fresh and amazing. Steve was available for Q&A about the house and the Gettysburg battle and area. It was like having a guide as a host.
Disliked: There was nothing to not love about this entire experience.

Terrific location and friendly hosts!
Liked: Breakfasts were wonderful with fresh fruit and variety! The grounds were lovely!
Disliked: The room was a bit small, but I recognize the age of the house. It wasn’t a problem.
