Disliked: Dinner was a limited menu and over-priced.I cut my foot on a sharp metal pipe end on the steps leading into the swimming pool. This was reported and put in the accident book.

Liked: We have been hear many times before the staff are always amazing it’s in a good location, spa facility’s are good but…
Disliked: As said before been a few times now, as stated the spa facility are good but in need of a refurb the salt room was out of order and the sauna wasn’t hot enough it’s a bit rough around the edges, also it very very busy now at times you can’t get a lounger, and we feel it is over sold and over crowded, also you have to pay an extra £29 per person to use the spa facilities if book though booking.com which isn’t stated anywhere when booking, which is silly because you can book direct through lifehouse and it’s pretty much the same price

Disliked: The "spa" area is very run down. The salt sauna was out of use. The pool area was as busy as you'd get in your local leisure centre. For a spa & for the price they charge this was nothing like I had ever experienced in a spa. Appreciate it was a Saturday like the manager said "you should expect it to be busy" however for the price they charge surely it should be less people and more relaxing. It was basically a catch up for big groups / boozy weekend.I am a member of David Lloyds leisure centre and I would have had a more relaxing time for a lot less cost. I payed for my partner to have a RELAXING full swedish massage at 5:30pm to then be greated by a young worker complaining she was tired as she'd been doing it all day. She was on her phone throughout the massage & did not stand up at any point she just rolled around on a small stool yawning every 5 minutes. Talk about make you feel awkward.My partner had a tickly leg for a second in which the lady said "If you're ticklish I will have to finish the massage earlier" which made my partner feel very awkward. She then proceeded to talk to her about college and what her and her friends get up too. Just the relaxing massage she always dreamed off. NOT!! We then complained to the spa reception after the massage as was offered a complimentary massage on the wave beds however we had planned to leave the next morning as was not enjoying our time there at all. The lady then said she would swap the massage for a facial "in good will" but we decided to not have it and cancelled it with management that night. Icing on the cake as we went to check out I was greeted will a final bill and the facial treatment charge was on the bill. WHICH WE DID NOT HAVE. So not only did I pay for the swedish massage that I wouldn't have even paid £10 for I was then charged for a facial we did not even have.

Liked: The property was very clean and staff was polite couldn’t do enough
Disliked: I wasn’t aloud to check in until late Breakfast took almost two hours by the time got served and ate it And because of timings and poorly run facilities didn’t get to use spa as by time had breakfast wasn’t aloud entry to spa Complete failure of a weekend

Great time, would recommend!
