Terrible staff, Booking guests gets...
Liked: We visited 27.08-28.07.2025. Booking guests guests worsts rooms in this hotel. We stayed in room on ground level, where receptionist (blond, slim girl) did not care about people sleeping next to her, she was very loud starting 6am , slamming cupboards and talking very loud with her colleagues. Then we overheard how she tried to oversell her boyfriend’s taxi service for 180zl from hotel to airport, when we told another guests thinks very expensive and uber is 50-60zl for this trip, she became aggressive and said „uber very often cancelled people trips”, which we found an utter rubbish and straight up lie. We travel roughly every month from city centre to airport for past few years, and not even once booked uber was cancelled. When we proceed to talk to this poor guest who was just to be about ripped off with her boyfriend service, she tried to interrupt several times and break up the conversation we stuck up. Very unprofessional behaviour, especially for hotel receptionist, clearly selling her boyfriend’s services and lying through her teeth. When we went down to breakfast at 7.40am - eggs bacon and sausages were cold - seemed heater broke, but breakfast staff quickly whipped up scrambled eggs for us which was nice, thank you for that. Overall we won’t be staying again due to bad staff and zero regards for people’s comfort.

Good
Liked: It was very comfortable and modern, and the location was great.
Disliked: A lot of things were broken when I checked in. The holder for the shower handle was completely gone, and one of the lights over the bed did not work. Where you adjust the heater was also broken, and cables were coming out.

Disappointing
Liked: Hotel was clean & location are good.
Disliked: I booked a double standard room as pictured on booking .com for 4 nights. That is not what I was given. I was given a dark attic bedroom with 2 roof windows & a side oblong window. The roof window has blinds ( 1 broken) that need pulling down with a stick & the side window had no curtain. I have arthritis in my hands but managed to pull the blinds down with difficulty however no curtain/ blind on the other window meant I had to use towels & cushions to block out the light. There was also mold in the shower. I requested a change of room but was told none was available that day maybe try next day.I again tried to change my room the next day & was told none available unless I paid £50 (250zlt) extra. After much discussion with an inexperienced lady on the desk & a manager who wasnt available to sort this, I reluctently paid the money & guess what- I got given the room in the photo I had booked originally. Following on from this a day later the manager apologise to me about the whole situation. I asked why is there no photo of these attic rooms on booking.com which she said were the standard double rooms ( not what the photos show)!!! I asked her to check the hotel site. What should have been an enjoyable break was marred by time spent over 2 days trying to sort the room I paid for. originally. I really resented being asked to pay extra money to get the room that I had booked originally. Definitely not a 4 star hotel & I wont be recommending this hotel to anyone. There are much nicer hotels for the same price in Krakow.
