It was one of the...
Liked: It was quiet and had access to all the pools. We also enjoyed the bed. Slept very well. We had the whole resort to ourselves. The kitchen was great to make meals and really was able to relax and enjoy the weekend.
Disliked: One of the days the gardeners were cutting the palm trees so it made it difficult to enjoy the outside pool but we just used the indoor pool.

Superb
Liked: The pool and spas are perfect. Small, intimate resort and every room is just a few steps from the pools. New owners were still in the process of upgrades and improvements to the rooms and grounds, but not disruptive, and changes for the better are already noticeable. This was our 5th visit in 6 years and we're already looking forward to next year!

Wonderful restorative stay – great...
Liked: This is a small resort, a dozen rooms, but the facilities are outstanding. It is not hyper fancy or brand new but everything is immaculate and there are three amazing Hot Springs pools, one indoor and two outdoor that are quite wonderful in their creative properties. The new owner is Quite devoted to her customer’s comfort and satisfaction. She is in a process of upgrades and improvements, but the beds are excellent, every room has a full kitchen. It has a big screen TV with DVD options as well and there are both chairs and loungers in front of each room. The setting is Desert Hot Springs, in the foothills north of Palm Springs about 20 minutes. DHS itself is not a deluxe destination. But it is famous for their Hot Springs welling up out of the hills behind them. There are modest restaurants with good food in the neighborhood, including Indian, Mexican and Japanese cuisines and Palm Springs has every imaginable level and type of restaurant. The main thing we go for is to have a chance to visit let the Midwesterners get out of the freezing cold and to enjoy the very healing waters of the Lido palms.
Disliked: I can’t think of anything I dislike per se. I appreciate the fact that it is clean and comfortable, without ornate decor. Those looking for that upscale experience have plenty of options in Palm Springs just down the road (but mostly without any hot springs.)
