Liked: Breakfast was good enough.
Disliked: The Shuttle committed by the property to pick up at the Airport did not turn up. After frantic search and contact with the property it was advised to take UBER or TAXI. This was indeed annoying as we were travelling for the first time to NY and hadn't my UBER app. tagged to any acceptable Card.

Don?t recommend staying here because...

Liked: rooms were nice but very small
Disliked: when we first arrived there was no one at the front desk to check us in..we waited about 10 min before someone came back to the hotel to check us in. during the night the staff was extremely rude and it was over a minor issue. the staff threatened to charge my room an extra $500 because they were wrong and did not want to admit it.

Exceptional

Liked: We travelled with the family and were pleasantly surprised that rooms are so clean and there is a dining area downstairs where one can find hot and cold water around the clock, as well as microwave. Cleaning was done daily, which made us really happy!

Liked: nice sized room, very close to 2 subway stops ( easy to travel to/around Manhattan), breakfast included in room rate
Disliked: no lobby, it s a nice and clean tourist hotel for those who like to save some money on their accommodation in Ny.

Very good with minor annoyances...

Liked: Very clean room (many 4-5 star hotels I've been to tend to have dust & stains in the corners or in small areas of the bathroom so it was surprising that this 3star hotel had such a clean & fresh smelling room upon entry), cool touch screen light up buttons to indicate privacy & notifying house keeping outside the door, ideal location for metro travel to other parts of the city, location outside is quiet at night, microwave & fridge in room, breakfast included, full coverage curtains, the view from the top floors is great, ice & cups available in cafeteria 24/7, staff is professional
Disliked: Bed is a little hard (& I usually prefer firm mattresses too!) so it could use a little thicker topper (had to use other bed's topper to add to the comfort), walls are thin (inconsiderately loud neighbors next door were a pain), the fire/smoke detector has 2 bright lights that keep flashing every 30 seconds (makes it hard to fall asleep in total darkness),

Liked: This a great hotel. We loved our visit.It is well located; close to public transportation and in a safe and beautifularea.The place is great; good food, comfortable, and clean. And has reasonable prices.Lastly, the staff is amazing. They make you feel welcomed and go above and beyond to create an amazing experience.Eimy and the other receptionist were wonderful and polite.We will surely come back.

Great vacation!

Liked: LIC Plaza Hotel is a short walk from Queensboro Plaza metro station (N, W, and 7 lines) and a short distance from Queensbridge metro station (F line). The location is excellent for getting to Manhattan, LaGuardia, and JFK airports.The staff is courteous and helpful, and housekeeping is manic and daily. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful! The entire facility is smoke-free. The stay was simply great!
