It was great, I enjoyed...
Liked: The entire hotel is beautiful, bathroom is stunning, bed is very big, staff doesn’t disturb you. There’s a police precinct nearby so safety is priority.
Disliked: There’s no parking.The subways closer to it weren’t working at the time I was there so I’d walk 25-30mins to a subway that works.

A very good and clean...
Liked: The room was nice, TV with a good size and two nice beds. It was a bit smaller but normal for New York standards. The bathroom was large with a good shower and some amenities such as soap, shampoo, and shower gel. The breakfast was good, better than the traditional American continental breakfast, with different options for different taste. It was good enough to hold you well for a late lunch.The staff was polite and always willing to help, and the cleanliness called my attention. Every time there was someone cleaning the hotel, especially during the breakfast. It is quite important when we are talking about a city that is famous for having rats around.
Disliked: The location is not so nice. It is in Brooklyn but a bit far away from Manhattan. Hotel is two blocks from the 25st Subway station, but even so one takes at least 30 minutes to reach Manhattan. It is old subway line, runs slow sometimes, and may take 10+ minutes from last Brooklyn station to first one on Manhattan side.The area is also not very pleasant, many factories, mechanics, old establishments around, quite dark at night, may make one feel insecure. However, nothing happened to me and if it helps the Brooklyn police station is right across the hotel.

Liked: The bed was comfortable and the TV also had a wide variety of channels, which was a nice touch.The breakfast was decent—not particularly exciting, but it was enough to start the day off right. There are two metro stations very close by.
Disliked: I was quite underwhelmed by my stay at this hotel, especially considering the price point. I had booked a Queen Liberty View room via Booking.com, expecting a pleasant view as indicated in the listing. However, we were given what seemed to be a standard room with no notable view and noticeably smaller than expected—definitely not ideal for two people.The room also felt stuffy during our stay. It wasn’t about the temperature; rather, the air quality itself seemed poor. We found ourselves needing to open the windows frequently—not because it was hot, but just to refresh the air.Soundproofing was another issue. We could easily hear TVs and even crying babies from neighboring rooms, which affected our rest.Overall, the experience did not match the price or the expectations set by the online listing.
