Lhotel Montreal

I’d definately stay again. Quickly...

Liked: Great location. Funky place, very comfortable atmosphere, felt at home right away.
Disliked: TV remote was a little tough to figure out. That said, I’m an old guy and it was pretty techy!

Would definitely stay again!

Liked: Inside and outside of hotel was attractive. The room was spacious and very nice. The bed was very comfortable! Shower was great. Staff were all very friendly.
Disliked: Would have liked a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries. Perhaps more breakfast options, although we knew before arriving that it was only pastries, coffee and juice.

Liked: The bed was super comfortable. The building and the artwork are wonderful. And the location can't be beat. The staff were accommodating. They humored my need to practice speaking French and switched to impeccable English when necessary.
Disliked: A couple of safety issues in the shower:1. The grab bar is useless, because it is on the wrong wall, behind the toilet.2. The detachable shower head is placed so high that I had to stand on tiptoes to get it down.Aside from that, and the fact that the lighting in the room is dim (a problem I have at almost all hotels), everything else was great!

Liked: Our room was clean and large lots of room. Valet parking. Great location. Friendly staff. The breakfast croissants were wonderful!

Bad

Disliked: I had a really disappointing experience at this hotel. The heater in my room didn’t work, and the temperature was 11°C (52°F). It was uncomfortably cold. I expected much better, especially considering the price. I will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone. Do not stay here if you want a comfortable stay. There are many options available nearby.
