L'Hermitage Hotel

Beautiful, large rooms. Huge 5 piece bath with a deep soaking tub and separate water closet. Modern fixtures and beautifully updated. The balcony is very large, with enough room for a table and 4 chairs and still plenty of room to walk around. My husband loved the in room espresso machine and I loved the electric kettle for making tea. The food was also excellent! This will be the only place we stay from now on.

Liked: Staff were very attentive and welcoming. The hot tub and heated pool was luxurious.
Disliked: The breakfast could have been a little better

Disliked: The first room in which they put us was adjacent to an industrial fan from a neighboring building. The sound was intolerable. We asked to move, and they moved us to a quieter room.

A welcoming and comfortable city...

Liked: A lovely boutique hotel, centrally placed with a warm welcome from all the staff. A beautifully fitted-out room complete with a hearth and fire. Comfortable and cosy whilst retaining a French-style charm.
Disliked: There was nothing to dislike

Exceptional

Wonderful hotel in the heart...

Liked: The L’ Hermitage Hotel was a perfect stay for my wife and I. The staff are very accommodating, so very pleasant which topped off an already pleasurable stay. The hotel is close BC Place, Canada Place and not too far from Gastown. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious with nice very nice bathroom facilities. A hot tub and lap pool are outside on a private level where a restaurant and sitting area are. The hotel is tucked into three floors of a high-rise condominium tower which makes one feel very comfortable and makes it almost more cozy and quiet, which we really liked. Great location as well and we can’t say enough good things about the staff; a perfect location for couples!

Liked: Very comfortable and clean , beautiful decor , super friendly and helpful staff , great food in the restaurant
Disliked: Only improvement would be to have more greenery around the pool area but that’s a personal thing and would not detract from my overall opinion of this lovely hotel.
