L'Hermitage Hotel

Beautiful, large rooms. Huge 5 piece bath with a deep soaking tub and separate water closet. Modern fixtures and beautifully updated. The balcony is very large, with enough room for a table and 4 chairs and still plenty of room to walk around. My husband loved the in room espresso machine and I loved the electric kettle for making tea. The food was also excellent! This will be the only place we stay from now on.

Liked: Superb location. Underground garage and very helpful and courteous staff. We had a room with a top loading washer and separate dryer. Super food.

Lovely stay

Liked: We loved our stay at L'Hermitage and wish we could've enjoyed more of the actual hotel offerings but we were out and about in the city most of the time. Our room was very clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed our breakast at the hotel restaurant (not included in our stay but we were provided a voucher for a discount). It was also within walking disance of plenty of restaurants, such as the ones we ate at in Gastown - and a Lee's Donuts!

Good but should have been...

Liked: Good location downtown, elegant facility, very attentive staff, extremely comfortable bed.
Disliked: Power bank on desk did not work (yes, I checked it was plugged in). Shower head was at chest height (tall guests don’t need to wash hair apparently). Breakfast very over-priced vs portion size. The hotel was good … but for the high price I paid, I honestly expected perfection.
