Extremely relaxing beautiful hotel

Liked: The rooms were absolutely stunning. The building itself is a pure work of art. The room was spacious and clean. The male staff at the hotel are extremely helpful and cannot do enough for you. The women on the other hand were not so much, but I did find the language barrier very hard as much my fault as I find French a very hard language.
Disliked: The bathrooms let the rooms down they are very old and could do with updating. Maybe a website order service for room service would be a good idea for those of us lacking in language culture.

A Gem of a Place...

Disliked: No lift to our room.

Poor

I wouldn't come back nor...

Liked: Room was comfortable but not a huge room. Breakfast was adequate but the biggest disappointment was the 'Spa'. A small pool and a steam room. That was all. Good massage though.
Disliked: Scrambled eggs at breakfast were disappointing..The spa was nothing special.This hotel did not offer value for money - €300+ per night! I felt I was ripped off.

Nice hotel but poor facilities

Liked: Beautiful hotel, comfortable beds
Disliked: Poor check-in, poor administration.Terrible warm water supply, having to wait 5-10 minutes before it gets warm (and even then very low quantity)Heard the warm water complaint from many people in different parts of the hotel

Superb

Liked: Lovely historical hotel, close to old city, with spacious rooms, comfy beds, helpful staff and a great pool.
Disliked: Breakfast too expensive

Fabulous history in a very...

Liked: This was a fabulous hotel with incredible history. We love the lobby in the old courtyard for both coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening. The room and bathroom were fabulous and the service was excellent. Highly highly recommend.
Disliked: We booked dinner, and somehow ended up in the casual restaurant, which had very little ambience. Next time I would make sure I was in the more formal restaurant off the lobby.
