Lewis River Inn

I think this hotel is actually a decent place. The staff was friendly upon check in and easy access off I-5 is a really big plus. On the downside, we were sold a room online, that upon arrival appeared to have been modified so a housekeeping room could be built next door. As a result, nowhere to sit except the queen bed and early up because of the maid activity on the other side of the bedroom wall. Most of the rooms are nice - some even have decks facing the river. Spend the extra bucks and you probably won't be disappointed, but don't reserve room 209!

Liked: I met two staff. The one for day shift is wonderful and polite. I would rate 10/10 if the staff is all like her. Also, the clean lady although she looks very young like ~20, but she is very professional with prompt response. I would thank you both for their hospitality.
Disliked: However,the front desk for the night shift is an inpatient and not polite which is the only dislike during my stay. She was the one helped me checked in but there was no greeting and never looked my eyes when she talked to me.

Liked: Great location close to I-5 but not noisy. The property is exceptionally clean and updated. There’s a nice patio area and walkway along the river bank. The free continental breakfast was good and even includes a waffle maker with marionberry syrup available.
Disliked: I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

Disliked: We were woken up about 5:30 AM both mornings by upstairs neighbors getting ready to check out and the breakfast wasn’t very desirable. Otherwise It would’ve been a 10 out of 10.

Disliked: Where to begin? Fairly certain there was a two way mirror, there was no iron to run over the sheets to confirm whether there were bed bugs, the front desk clerk had a "visitor" with her and was rude and cold toward us when we checked in and out. The inn is in a very unsafe location that Booking.com failed to note. It's also very noisy.
