Convenient for the price paid.

Liked: It is an old school property that has some great heritage areas like the restaurant area and the entrance to one of the rooms on the second floor. The bathroom in my room was in great condition. And something so important like the shower was great.
Disliked: The mattress wasn't the best and one of the windows had a little crash.

Liked: I like the location because it was nice and central in Dunedin City.I also like the "old" style historical "vibe" of the Hotel. Although could do with some more work on bringing up to date, but in keeping with the historical ambiance. They would do well if they get this right.
Disliked: I thought that I had booked into a suite with two bedrooms, i.e. 1 room with Queen bed and the other with 1 single bed. Only to find out that it was one room with a queen and 2 single beds in together. Apparently, they do not have this, however when selecting the room booking online it give the appearance of two separate rooms. They "managed" to change the booking to two separate rooms at additional cost.
