A great place to unwind.

Liked: We spent 1 overnight before heading home. The setting was relaxing and the food was excellent.
Disliked: It’s a bit noisy in the hallways. Walls seemed thin.

Convenient central location

Liked: Convenient location and nice communal area. Ground floor room is old and doesn’t have a nice view. Overall, not the best value for the money we paid.
Disliked: Room configuration, older facilities, no nice view.

Liked: Staff were helpful, really good area around the hotel and close to station
Disliked: The lift was broken the whole time we were there so had to walk up 4 flights of stairs, staff kindly brought up our bags on the first day though!

Disliked: The rooms felt a bit dated with some maintenance issues that took the edge off the overall ambiance

Liked: Breakfast was excellent- it had gluten free options for my husband.
Disliked: The tub in the bathroom was very high to get into without a grab bar to hold onto. Makes it difficult for older people like us

Liked: We had a problem with our room booking. Romain at the reception desk was particularly helpful and sorted our problem in a very kind and quick manner. He was super friendly and professional and made our stay enjoyable despite the original problem with the room. Thank you very much Romain!

Great stay as long as...

Liked: Nice property in a convenient location. Clean, great check in experience.
Disliked: It was all good until something goes wrong. The air conditioner did not work. Our room was very hot. In our 4 day stay we moved rooms 3 times. Absolute nightmare. Communication amongst staff is very low. We left a portable charger/power pack behind and trying to get in touch with anyone was a nightmare. When we finally did we were asked to send an email. I even sent a friend to pick it up as they said they found it. She had the worst experience. They told me they had it on the phone yet when she got there they did not have any idea. She ran out of there. I then followed up via the terrible email account they have and they said they would send it to a local address and I still have not heard anything.
