Liked the location and atmosphere - could have used some more personalized service.

Liked: Lives up to the Artistes name - much more enjoyable than a chain hotel.
Disliked: No maid service - we stayed 2 nights and were surprised that the room wasn't cleaned, bed made or given fresh towels after the first night.

Wonderful stay

Liked: The scenery is stunning. The rooms are exceptionally well arranged. They provide an abundance of extra blankets and pillows, something I've never encountered anywhere else without needing to request.
Disliked: They don’t offer toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, or body wash, which is pretty standard, but it's not a big deal. I brought my own, so it’s just good to be aware of. I was a bit disappointed that they turn off the waterfall at night because I really enjoyed the sound. Also, the TVs aren’t smart TVs, so if you like to watch your own shows, that won’t be an option.

Boutique hotel with a Euro/North...

Liked: Eclectic, full of character
Disliked: Facilities are basic - no kettle, cups, ice.

Very good

Liked: The theme of each room was unique and were thoughtfully laid out and included artful details. Solanna(?sp) was the artist in residence and was so interesting to talk with.
Disliked: Manager was a little brusque with us about check out time (11AM), having knocked on the door (11-02 AM) and saying "I thought you were out! showing his thumb behind his head. We were checking any missed items.

Fun Time with great hosts

Liked: Location was awesome. Walking distance to downtown and all the restaurants and the park to watch the sunset. Staff was super friendly. Disappointed that there was no coffee maker in the room so as I left the room to find a coffee place I was pleasantly surprised that there was fresh coffee at the check in desk. We were also asked if we would like pastries and they warmed them up for us. Super cute place

The bed and pillow were...

Liked: It was off the beat and path. It has a fountain that helps with outside noises
Disliked: It didn’t fee secure. The balcony door was unable to be secured well as in fact was open when I arrived back to my room. I thought someone had broke in.

Disliked: Old run down, no soap, no service, no ice, refrigerator not working, no glasses, no instructions how to use shower
