Nice location & hotel, staff...

Liked: Location was great but I know the areas and wanted to be near St Katherine's Docks. Handy for Aldgate and Tower Hill tube stations. The Exec Lounge was a nice touch.
Disliked: We got an "Accessible" room which meant that all the bathroom was low - perfect for someone who needs "accessible" (e.g. in a wheelchair) but not good for a 6" man who had to kneel down at the sink to clean his teeth or to shave. The bath was also shallow. No idea why they allocated this room as we booked months in advance. Reception staff were disinterested and unhelpful - arguably one of the worst "check-in" experiences in a hotel in the UK, Very young colleagues who cared more about chatting with their colleagues or checking their phones than actually dealing with the customer stood directly in front of them - one actually "tutted" when I asked her to put her phone down. A level of rudeness that I've not seen anywhere else.

A whole lot of luxury,...

Liked: We love staying here ! We aim to stay 4-5 times a year and the staff are always exemplary! We cannot fault them. Thank you for always welcoming us so warmly!
Disliked: There is neighing to dislike in our opinion!

Just Perfect

Liked: On arrival at the hotel which is in a great location, we were checked in by Aristos who was warm and welcoming and who advised that our stay had been upgraded, which was wonderful as we were celebrating 33 years of marriage. Throughout our stay, we ate at the restaurant each evening and Letisha, one of the restaurant staff was nothing short of exceptional with her service alongside Prakash who served us well also. The atmosphere in the hotel was buzzy and lovely and we felt so relaxed. Our room was just perfect and the spa facilitated more relaxation.
Disliked: We liked everything. The only small negative comment was the steam room in the spa wasn't steamy.
