The Spotlight on Leonardo Royal London St Paul's

Luxury Meets Live Music in the Heart of London

Modern and upscale, Leonardo Royal London St Paul's is a 4-star hotel nestled right beside the iconic St Paul's Cathedral. With its sleek design, full-service amenities, and unbeatable location in the City's business district, this hotel blends style and convenience. Whether you're in town for a once-in-a-lifetime gig or a weekend of shows, you'll be right where the action is — and have a luxe retreat to return to.

Why Concert-goers love it

You’re a 5-minute walk from St Paul’s Underground Station, making it easy to access major venues across London without hassle. After a late-night show, enjoy a quiet, comfortable room with plush robes, a power shower, and blackout curtains for a restful recovery. The on-site Rena Spa and indoor pool are ideal for those needing a post-concert wind-down. Plus, with a check-in time of 14:00 and check-out at 11:00, there’s just enough flexibility for those late arrivals and slow mornings.

Who this Hotel is great for

- Groups of friends looking to share sleek city digs after a gig
- Solo travelers checking off bucket-list artists
- Couples making a romantic concert weekend of it
- Fans who want a quieter, spa-like setting to recharge
- Budget-conscious music lovers seeking luxury at a value in off-peak times

Food and Drink Options

The hotel’s bar and restaurant are fully open, offering plenty of options for pre- or post-show bites. There's also a full buffet breakfast — perfect for recovering after a late night. While 24/7 room service isn’t listed, the central location means you're a short walk from late-night eateries at One New Change shopping centre and surrounding streets.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel itself keeps things more refined than rowdy, you're just a short stroll from the buzzing bars and pubs of the City and Southbank. Nearby, you’ll find Shakespeare’s Globe and riverside venues that often host live music, as well as stylish cocktail lounges for a nightcap.

What People Say

Guests rave about the luxurious spa facilities, comfortable, quiet rooms, and the unbeatable location for exploring central London. Many highlight the hotel’s cleanliness, spacious rooms, and friendly staff. The power showers and plush robes are crowd-pleasers, especially after long nights on your feet.

Areas for Improvement

Some travelers mention the hotel can feel a bit business-focused, especially midweek, and the vibe may not be as lively as trendier boutique options. A few noted that the WiFi could be faster, and that the hotel’s layout can be a little maze-like.

The Bottom Line

A polished, peaceful base with spa perks and top transport links — perfect for concert-goers who want to enjoy London’s energy, then escape it in style.

Expensive but great location. Bedding...

Liked: Excellent location with good transport options and local restaurants.
Disliked: Room air conditioning on auto set at 24C.....far too high for spring/summer months and we could only lower it by 3C on the room control unit.Duvet cover on bed too heavy for comfortable sleeping with room at 21-24C....needs lighter duvet.Pillows too hard need softer options.

Big R'cist Hotel

Liked: The location is a big plus for them, if you are visiting St Paul, they are very central, within walking distance to many attractions and the underground is literally just a few minutes away
Disliked: The staff, maybe the racism. It takes away from everything good about the place, how you are treated when you are darker in colour. And its in your face, the restaurant even had me filling in forms and declarations while I was eating. When I first arrived I thought it was odd that a bill was shoved in my face after ever drink order, imagine ordering 6 beers at the bar and paying 6 times -- like makes no sense, but other guests could even bill it to their rooms. The other guy waiter, even brought me the bill before bringing the beer one time - like pay first before I bring the drink. I never seen anything like this before, in all the countries I have visited. Just straight up R'ism in your face.
