Short but super nice stay

Liked: The staff was friendly and helpful, ready to assist with smile on their faces.Another great thing about the hotel was warm welcoming for our dog, from whom the dog bed, the bowl, and the bottle of water were waiting in the room. I appreciate the tag you can put on the door to let others know the dog is inside and it should not be disturbed.The room was clean and comfortable, and the location is super convenient.

Great location but mouldy and...

Liked: Location is great, walkable from alexanderplatz and tram and bus options right outside. The room was spacious, tv, fridge and coffee machine if you use them, there was a nice outside area and the reception was well presented.
Disliked: Mould in the shower, clumps of black mould. The air conditioning was so loud for something that DID NOT WORK. Chose this hotel as I knew it would be a warm weekend, and I'd seen the hotel answer that they had air con - sadly, I've since seen other reviews about the awful air con - do not stay here if it's going to be warm and you don't cope well in the heat. We couldn't keep our windows open as it backed onto the courtyard and felt exposed with the curtains open to let in what breeze we could find. I would stay here again....just not in the summer.

Perfect for a trip with...

Liked: The location was perfect, 4 tram stations from Alexander Platz. They provided a bed and a water bowl for our dog. The check-in was smooth, and we were able to choose our type of bed. The personnel were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The bed was too soft for our preferences. I could feel every movement of my spouse. The breakfast is too expensive.

Superb

Liked: A beautiful, calm building. A beautiful clean room, good bed, enough pillows. A lot to choose from at breakfast. At walking distance (10 min) from Alexanderplatz. Or tram.

Great value for an excellent...

Liked: Really nice hotel at a great price! The staff were friendly and accommodating and the room was clean!

Hotel has some cons but...

Liked: The location is great - 10-15 mins walk to the train, S-bahn, U-Bahn. Room is big and beg is comfortable. Breakfast room is big and enough variety of food for breakfast.
Disliked: The bathroom is too outdated - Sink is too low, hand wash donator is not possible to use because is it too close to the sink, not good hangers for the hand towels - if you put them on the hanger - they touch the floor. Events hotel is 4 stars, keep in mind that it is German 4 stars.
