Leonardo Hotel Southampton

The bed was very comfortable and the room was suitable for 2 of us. We did sleep well and enjoyed the buffet breakfast where there was a large choice on offer.

Liked: The staff were attentive and helpful.
Disliked: Our room was quite cold; there was a big stain on the carpet and the sink was cracked.

Not bad, and staff were pleasant and helpful.

Liked: Good value for money; parking was hassle free and cheap; easy walking distance to town centre. Room was clean and functional.
Disliked: Morning shower was luke warm and our sleep was disrupted.

The room was very over priced and not to clean, the breakfast was of poor standard and had to ask for cutlery, sausages and eggs , then waited even longer, no cereal. Not going to return. I complained to manager at the time got parking paid! But no apology.

Disliked: I had fire alarm, which may be around 10pmNobody to assist or tell us what was happening walked downstairs from 7th floor No information and then return to the room.Thanks. All was okay We had a breakfast buffet of 33 poundsThat was not included in my roomWell i booked the room again it was my error on my stay .This time I was told your room doesn't allow you water bottles as it's different from yesterday and today's booking..Although I paid 30 pounds more than my previous day booking.It's terrible strategy from the hotel

Liked: I liked the steps at the front desk so my little one could get involved. However, staff could have been better.
Disliked: Not very thorough explanation that made us wait longer. They forgot the baby cot and no one was available through the phone that is placed in the room. I was alone with two under 3s AND on the 11th floor. I couldn't dress them and drag them down with me to ask for the cot. I guess the phone is just for decoration. No amenities at all. Basic shampoo hand-wash that is about it.
