Guests love the super central location, friendly staff, and spotless rooms. Many reviewers highlight how easy it is to walk to concerts and events, and praise the comfy beds for a good night's sleep after a big night out.
The hotel is cashless, which could surprise some travelers, so be sure to bring your card. Also, while the area is lively, light sleepers might want to request a quieter room away from the street.

Liked: The place was very clean, quiet and in a good location.
Disliked: In my room, the kettle was on a shelf attached to a tray, naturally I lifted it from this shelf to the dressing table above it, plugged it in to make a cup of tea. I then got in the shower. Next thing I know the fire alarm is going off! I am quickly trying to get dressed, I then have a banging on the door- a staff member who has run up from reception to see if there is a fire and if I am ok. He looked at the kettle set up and asked if I had just used it. I said yes, he then ran off to ensure the fire brigade were not called. When he came back he explained that the room is poorly designed and if I needed to use the kettle it was better that I did it over on the small bed side table (which is where the phone was) because the kettle is attached to the tray I would have had to take the whole tray over there, I think it would actually have been too big to fit on the side table, especially with the phone. He said this would be better as it is then further away from the fire alarm (positioned above where the kettle was - I hadn't noticed this). I appreciated the staff member being so quick to assist etc but the whole thing was quite stressful and clearly happens all the time. I mentioned there being signs put up or something so that people know not to put the kettle tray on the large dressing table. Or a different design entirely. It made what should have been a relaxing moment.. quite a stressful, and a little bit of an emabressing one!

Excellent location, shame about the...
Liked: The location is very good.
Disliked: Breakfast was inedible. Minimal choice, undercooked food and watered down orange juice. The coffee had the most bitter taste. I've stayed in better Travel Lodges. No facilities in the room in terms of comfort. No water. Lighting horrific making it very difficult to get ready. This was a very special occasion as the Hotel was made aware. No effort from them whatsoever.Bargain basement hotel.

Disliked: The bathroom could do with a walk in shower not many people need to have a bath now days . Should have a choice of pillows are they were exceptionally hard . Toilets in bar area were not clean.
