Disappointing

Liked: Breakfast and staff were great and the room was comfortable.
Disliked: There was confusion over the pricing via Booking.com hence this rating. I ended up paying quite a bit more for the room than was originally offered, albeit at the booking stage. Maybe there was a glitch?

Liked: Great location, just a short walk to Exeter’s town centre, cathedral, and pubs.Easy parking across the road — pay at the hotel and get a discount.Rooms are functional with comfy beds, and staff are friendly. Good value overall.
Disliked: The air con in our room had a constant hum — loud enough to wake us in the night.Mentioned it to the manager, but got a long-winded explanation about “trickle vents” or something and a token discount on parking.They said they’d have moved us, but at 3am that’s not exactly practical for a one-night stay.
