Good hotel

Liked: Staff friendliness. Room was lovely and clean and smelled nice. Good swimming pool.
Disliked: Breakfast was a bit of a letdown, some of the hot section was not very hot. Eggs hard, bacon very fatty. We managed to get one croissant each and was then told there was not any more.

Disliked: Shocking dining experience on Friday evening 27th June 2025. Waited 75 minutes for the food to arrive, sent back the dry and burnt steak and ale pie then waited 20 minutes for another meal to be served resulting in the obvious of both of us eating separately which is both unpleasant and totally spoils the evening. The "restaurant manager" was the only staff member that spoiled a very good visit to the hotel with his unprofessional behavior stating that the hotel had a function on which was the cause of the delay in serving food, this is totally unacceptable.
