Not worth £250 a night...
Liked: Good location with fantastic access to city centre, and only a short walk to seafront.
Disliked: The access cards are very poor. They are 20th century tech and get wiped out by your phone or other. Spent two night there and my partner and I must have changed 8 times. Very frustrating when you are at your room and cannot get in then another trip to reception. Lighting quite dim and no safe.

Good basic hotel.
Liked: It's near the station and not too far from the bars and restaurants. Rooms are clean with fresh towels provided daily. Breakfast was good with lots of choices.
Disliked: I was surprised there was no fridge in the room to store water etc.

Stessful vacation!

Disliked: It was very dirty. Hotel compliment thick greasy hair was on the bath top the day we arrived. It remained there for the entire three days of our stay. A cracked sinkThe hotel's hallways were not cleaned during the three days we stayed. At breakfast, my child found something resembling snot in the milk. The milk was stored in a metal jar for all guests. As a result, I had to purchase milk from Tesco and heat it in the microwave, which we were also denied access to. The staff was rude, on the day of our arrival, Linen Porter blocked the entrance to our room, leaving only a small space to walk through and open the door. He stood there, watching us struggle to open the door, expressing his clear displeasure at our presence and inconvenience. Only two members of the staff were truly professional and willing to assist. These were the receptionist on the day of our arrival, August 17, and the Manager housekeeping staff on the morning of our departure. He helped us with the room key that was constantly malfunctioning.
