Hotel - great. The restaurant...

Liked: The room, the staff, the leisure facilities, the breakfast.
Disliked: The evening meal in the restaurant was a disgrace ! There were only a couple of others in the restaurant ay 6.55pm when I entered for my meal. It was well over 45 minutes before my meal arrived. Parts of my lamb were inedible gristle. The wait for my dessert was even longer. The trifle had 4 long, hard biscuits in it (in a wine glass). They were impossible to cut with a spoon and when I tried , it slid & pushed the custard & cream over the side of my glass. Where was the soft sponge ?I didn't finish my meal until 9pm.I felt sorry for the servers as they were very apologetic. They had tried & failed to get things moving. All the other customers were also disappointed/annoyed/angry/fed up. The whole evening was a mockery and it spoilt my stay at your hotel.The name

Stay overall good but spoilt...

Liked: Breakfast was good with plenty of selection of food and variety. Everything easy access accessible.
Disliked: Lack of bar staff and bar facilities which was very noticeable when the number of residents and visitors to the hotel. This resulted in very long queue's and certainly spoilt the sociable aspect of the stay. This seems to be a regular feature of the hotel as I have stayed there 4 times in a a row due to attending the conference I did.
