Disliked: At 7 o'clock there was noise outside of our window, they were moving laundry, and it was loud, me and my fiancé woke up and couldn't get back to sleep.In the bed it was just one pillow and it was totally uncomfortable, too big.The food was not good at all in the restaurant, definitely not good for value, poor gnocchi, they were nowhere close to what real gnocchi supposed to taste , as well as the sauce, it just didn't make sense.In the pool area, the guy at the leisure club was very far from being friendly or making you feel comfortable, not a single smile plus the jacuzzi was broken.The break-fast was " really poor" , I had a feeling that the product used was very cheap, from the juice to the eggs that where testing funny.I've been in other 4 star hotels, and they were all well above Leonardo hotel standards,in many aspects.

Not the normal enjoyable stay

Liked: We stay every year to visit relatives and have done for at least 5 years plus the stay is usually good but was not this year
Disliked: It had a church venue on with 300 people attending pluses 2 weddings it seemed overcrowded. We have had companies there before but not like this the noise

Terrible experience!!!!

Liked: Delicious dinner.
Disliked: It was such an awful experience!While the size of our room was fine, it smelled really bad, which made it very uncomfortable from the start.Unfortunately, there was a wedding event during our stay, and the hotel was completely packed with guests. It felt chaotic and overcrowded, and the staff were clearly overwhelmed. Many were very young and untrained, which is a direct result of poor management. For a 4-star hotel, the lack of proper service and professionalism was shocking.Luckily, we had only booked one night.Breakfast was a huge disappointment:•We were not allowed to sit in the main restaurant due to how busy it was, and were sent to the Triumph bar instead.•We were told it would have the same setup, but it was far from it.•The coffee machine wasn’t working, there was no bread selection, and coffee was served in paper cups.•We asked for bread, and they brought two cold slices directly from the fridge.•The staff had no clue how to help, and even the restaurant manager responded to our concerns in an unprofessional way, simply blaming how busy it was.At checkout, the receptionist didn’t speak a word — she asked us to drop our room card in a box and offered no farewell, no thank you, and no interest in feedback.To top it all off, during dinner we ordered three small bottles of Prosecco, clearly listed at £11 each. But when the bill came, they had charged us £30 per bottle, totalling £90 instead of £33. I caught the error and had to ask for it to be corrected — completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one rated 4 stars.The overall atmosphere was loud, crowded, and poorly managed. We did not enjoy our stay at all. I honestly don’t understand how this hotel has a 4-star rating — it felt completely unprepared to deliver quality service during busy times.

Good

Liked: Hotel was very modern, staff were very friendly and welcoming. Bedroom and bathroom was very spacious for 4, and the bed was comfy. Having a pool and gym on site were a fantastic addition, and enjoyed by the kids after a long hot journey.
Disliked: conditioning and a window that could only be cracked open. One small fan was provided which did help. There was a good selection for the continental breakfast, however the cooked breakfast ran out very quickly and took a while to be restocked, when it did eventually
