This fine country house hotel rests in 6 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens only a few minutes' drive from Perth. There is free on-site car parking and free Wi-Fi. After exploring the castles and ruins of Perthshire guests can enjoy a fine whiskey in the homely Scottish bar or dine at the Huntingtower's spacious award-winning restaurant. There is also an outside seating area for warmer months. Each bedroom is unique; some offer a modern feel while others have bright colors and a more traditional decor. The Hermitage which is a 30-minute drive away has wonderful easy walks through woodland leading to ancient caves and a stunning waterfall. A nice stay off the...

Liked: Skye on reception was excellent, welcoming, friendly and went the extra mile to help.
Disliked: The pillows were hard and narrow width of the bath made it slightly hazardous whilst in the shower.

have stayed here before and...

Liked: we were given a free upgrade on our room. very good breakfast and evening meal. quiet location with plenty parking.
Disliked: everything was lovely

Short stay

Liked: Set in lovely grounds & a great location for visiting surrounding areas. Staff were friendly & helpful. Good breakfast & we had a good dinner one evening too. The room was roomy & comfortable.
Disliked: Very minor points but the dining tables were sticky & the 2nd morning the eggs could not be poached or fried, which I found a bit strange & no explanation!

Very good

Liked: All of the staff were very welcoming, professional and accommodating. The best really. The location and grounds around the hotel were really lovely and well maintained. The quiet ambience and style of this hotel is very much to our taste. There is a very pleasant riverside walk behind the hotel. Dinner and bar meals were very good. Looking forward to a return stay.
Disliked: The breakfast food and orange juice could have been much better quality, especially for a Leonardo hotel.

Necessary stop but poor sleep...

Liked: Peaceful location , nice car park
Disliked: Beds and pillows uncomfortable Noisy room . Caterers truck arrived 0530 am with full blast radio and banging of crates being dropped onto the floor .

Glad I was only there...

Liked: The location and the staff
Disliked: The room is on need of upgrading.The dining room tables and seats desperately need replaced. The bacon at breakfast was not edible.

Hotel and grounds were beautiful...

Liked: It was disappointing.No crepes.Orange juice was like diluted juice.Scrambled eggs were just warm
Disliked: Noisy in morning when bins were being emptied..Sounded like it was outside our window.
