Comfortable bed, clean room but...

Liked: Comfortable bed, friendly staff.
Disliked: Huge cobwebs on wall lights. Scalding burning water from tap in sink, must put up warning sign. Soap canister too high and looks dirty inside at top. Need to clean dirty walls around bedside tables, especially phone side. Arriving to washing of cloths and bed linens out drying on landing and there until around 5pm.

Liked: Set in lovely grounds, close to A9
Disliked: Booked twin room, only to find one of the beds was a sofa bedWindow wouldn’t open for ventilation Hotel becoming to look tired

Second time year in two...

Liked: Pretty location; good food
Disliked: Understanding that it was unseasonably warm during our stay, the room was a little warm for sleeping. A small fan would have been nice. Not a big deal, though

Exceptional

A Grand Hotel in need...

Liked: A beautiful old fashioned building near Perth
Disliked: A beautiful hotel — sadly left looking a little neglected, like a grand old lady in need of a proper makeover. It boasts a splendid veranda, but our room came with an ancient key, lights that had to be switched off one by one (wasting energy if you forget), a TV straight from the last century, and a shower curtain from 1990 that really should meet its glass replacement.To be fair, the place still carries the good vibes of its former glory, and breakfast was of good quality. The only real drama? My request for a single espresso at breakfast turned into a public announcement that my room had “no credit” — apparently what they call prepaid. Nothing like feeling you’ve tried to smuggle a cappuccino past the guards. A card reader at the table? Pure science fiction.

Disliked: Bed wasn’t the comfiest ever but not bad
