Superb

Disliked: Although the issue appeared to stem from a genuine miscommunication between the front desk and housekeeping, it was far from ideal to discover, after a 10-hour drive and a shower, that the bed had clearly been used by someone else. With no other rooms available, the night shift staff changed the bed linens and removed the previous guest’s belongings. A more appropriate resolution was arranged by the manager at checkout.

Liked: We have the same room as we take our G/S dog it's our fourth visit. Breakfast in the room was great and on time.

All in all we had...

Liked: The staff were all friendly and helpful, the food was well prepared and tasty and overall the hotel had a relaxing atmosphere. The grounds were beautiful and we loved the country location.
Disliked: The bathroom in our room was a bit tired and could do with an upgrade and a bit of a rearrangement of the facilities. The toilet was placed very close to the wall and combined with the location of the loo roll holder made it impossible for me to sit properly on the seat and even my wife who is a lot smaller than me found it awkward. The hot water tap on the basin was loose but did not leak. There was ample space in the bathroom to move the wash basin and loo a few inches to make the facilities more user friendly.
