Lenox Hotel and Suites

The front desk staff were very accommodating and helpful. We came from out of the country after working overnights for the night to see a concert and the staff let us get our room earlier than expected and were very friendly. The room was small but perfect and I loved the look of the hotel and the old school feel.

Liked: The customer service and look of the hotel.
Disliked: Nothing.

We absolutely loved it overall. Staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. We will definitely stay again!

Liked: Reminded me of American Horror Story Hotel Cortez - I loved how original it was. Impresssed with the ceiling height. How thick and heavy the bathroom door was and actually used a real key!
Disliked: Scalding hot shower - no cold water what so ever.

Liked: We had a very enjoyable stay. Everyone is so friendly and helpful at this hotel.
Disliked: None really.

Location very close to city...

Liked: The room was ok, but the TV set was not working. I have told about that at the reception, they have done nothing in my three days experience. The card I used for booking was not used for collecting the payment, althought I have repeatedly requested so. It is strange they did not respect my wish, while it was agreed from the begining and only by mistake my husband (the actual guest, with his name stated in the reservation) was required to provide a different mean of payment.

Liked: I was just passing through on my way home so I can’t speak to the location or anything like that, but I would say it was easy to find and it was nice. That parking was free and included and the staff was very friendly. The bed was comfortable. It was dog friendly, which was great.
Disliked: The lobby has one of those soaked in either old building smells or cigarette smoke. I also think there’s also people living in the hotel which I didn’t realize and you can hear everything in the hallway and my room smelled strongly of bleach. Everything was just that point of being outdated where it just felt dirty even though I don’t think it was. The door does lock, but it doesn’t really feel secure. You can definitely hear everything. I cranked the AC up all night so I could go to sleep. I also took my dog out to go to the bathroom and walked around a bit and while the surrounding neighborhood looks nice there were quite a lot of homeless people walking around not necessarily a problem. Just not something I usually encounter at hotels.
