Upon arrival, we were informed...
Liked: The lobby had nice decoration
Disliked: Upon arrival, we were informed that a $200 credit card hold was required. This was never communicated to us at any point during the booking process, nor was it mentioned in any of the confirmation emails we received. When I explained that we were only prepared to pay by debit or cash—due to the lack of prior notice—your front desk staff was uncooperative and refused to offer any alternative solution. Even after I presented the emails as proof that no such policy had been disclosed to us, we were still denied the opportunity to speak with a manager or supervisor and were told we could not stay unless we paid the hold with a credit card.Reluctantly, we complied, only to find that our room was far from satisfactory. The bathroom light was not working, and we had to fix it ourselves. The room was also extremely cold, and the heating system was non-functional. There was already a line of other guests downstairs voicing similar complaints about the hotel facilities, which discouraged us from attempting to raise our concerns in person.This experience was both stressful and disappointing, especially as it was meant to be part of a special trip for us. We expected basic professionalism, hospitality, and functioning accommodations—none of which were delivered.I respectfully request that this situation be reviewed. There’s also water damage beside the bathtub on the floor and the floor and wall board are peeling off.

You get what you pay...
Liked: The staff was very professional and attentive. The hotel itself has seen better days.
Disliked: I stayed at Lelux a total of 4 days. When I went to my room I turned on the tv and it wasn't working. This wouldn't bother me but I was having some back issues and couldn't walk around much. They couldn't fix the problem so I asked to be moved to another room. They said there were none available. I told them I'd be happy to go to another hotel but they said they'd charge me for the remaining days. They moved me to another room on the second day and the TV in that room was working. Someone finally fixed it on day 3. The staff was polite but the hotel was not in great shape.

A pleasant experience
Liked: The breakfast is reasonably good and the parking is great
Disliked: A mini fridge as a option would be great. If a microwave could be made available in the cafe after breakfast?
