Uneventful and uncomfortable

Disliked: Road was full of potholes. Minor damage to our vehicle. Front desk spoke with a heavy accent and could barely understand them. The photos on the website are NOTHING like the room we stayed in. The property is so out of date. This places is NOT A RESORT!

Disliked: Not as advertised. This place is run down and it is disgusting. The drive to the entry is mor potholes than road. I checked in- the staff was okay. I need a cart to get my things to the room. There is only one entry door at the back of the building that doubles as a wheelchair ramp(not compliant) I had to walk to the end of a dimly lit hallway to get a cart. All the carts were broken one was slightly functional but two had flat tires- something I did not realize until after I loaded our luggage and tried to push it to the room. As I entered the hallways, “DANK” is what came to mind. Carpets worn to nearly no color. Long dark narrow hallways that smell like mildew. The room was so small I instantly felt claustrophobic. There was a chemical like odor in the room I don’t know what it was. The room appeared to have been cleaned, but what can one do to make it feel clean when it is so old and worn. I refused to stay and contacted BOOKING.com to help with getting another hotel- since they had already charged my card. I was advised that booking.com could not cancel the room but they would “ask” the establishment to refund me. Booking.com was the company that charged my card however they refused to refund me or help. I checked out. I was charged in full by Booking.com and a $100 deposit was added. I’m told by the establishment that I will eventually get the $100 back. Booking.com advised that I would be charged a cancellation fee of $100, regardless that their ad described a great location 7.9 rating and a family destination hotel, which it is not. By the way. I got another hotel on my own because their walk-in rate was $30 less than booking.com listed. I will NEVER recommend or use Booking.com again.

Liked: Perfect stay for a family on different schedules- the shuttle was great. Nice amenities. Comfortable bed, nice to have three bathrooms with the 6 of us.
Disliked: The kitchen could have a few more dishes, a wine opener, etc. Would be nice if the lockers had keys.

Top location and price for...

Liked: The hotel is close to the ski lifts and has an on demand shuttle service to the base of the resort for those that don't have their own car. The room was spacious and included a mini-fridge, microwave oven, a sink, plates, cups, glasses and cutlery which was very handy for preparing and eating some food in it. The hotel has a nice swimming pool and two hot tubs. The fitness center is also great an well equipped. There is a fire place in the middle of the lobby and some nice views all around the hotel. There is also an activities room with arcade games, pool, table tennis, air hockey, etc.
Disliked: There is no restaurant or breakfast, so you're always limited to the food you bring or eating out.The games in the activity room are paid, but there is a coin machine for exchanging banknotes to coins at least.
