I absolutely loved my stay here. I wish I didn't have to leave so soon after arriving. I could have stayed there for weeks! The house is so beautiful, and the rooms are comfortable and welcoming. The area around the B&B is so awesome - great vibes (and pizza at 11:00 pm)! I highly recommend Ledroit Park B&B.
Liked: Friendly family; great house; perfect setting!

Quaint neighborhood, friendly hosts and...
Liked: It was in a residential house and the family were very helpful in finding parking nearby!

Liked: This place is one of the more inexpensive around, it is a genuine bed and breakfast. t does have a shared bathroom, one between three bedrooms but in my four or five stays here I have very rarely had to wait to get into the bathroom. It is near a metro station, there are some restaurants and bards nearby, it is two metro stops from the convention centre, it is a quiet neighbourhood.
Disliked: The wi-fi signal for the top floor is very poor but you can sit in the lounge and you get a much better signal.

Short but good stay -...
Liked: Since I have trouble climbing stairs, I did not take the third floor prepared for me. My host set up another room on the second floor in a jiffy. Breakfast was prepared according to my specifications. Since I was the only guest, I do not know whether that is the norm. It was a delicious breakfast - two perfect sunny-side up eggs that I could never make as perfect at home, a fruit bowl, toast and butter, and coffee. I discovered some good tiny restaurants around the area.
Disliked: Since I only had two full days, one of which was devoted to an event at the Museum of the Bible, I did not get much chance to explore the city, never learned the circuitous street layout, had to take a cab often to maximize my time going from one place to another.
