Pleasant stay beautiful views
Liked: View from room was beautiful. The rooms were spacious and clean. Bathroom was very clean. Everything looked recently renovated. Breakfast was ok. I suspect because it was a Monday the breakfast was more basic. But everything offered was very nice. I liked the Keurig in the room. There were views from everywhere. The pool looked nice though we didn't use it because of the weather and time. We enjoyed our stay very much

Liked: It was updated and welcoming. We had plenty of room and relaxed with ease.
Disliked: The balcony banister could use some care (staining). We have family in the area and understand that it is the charm of Maine and the salty elements that cause wood to react to the stain.

Great quiet place

Liked: This is a very good, no frills motel. Felt safe, a bit off the road so reasonably quiet. Clean room, courteous and friendly staff, all the normal things provided like soap and shampoo. A mini fridge. Decent view if your room comes with one. Furniture is low budget but everything worked and was clean / not dinged up. For this price, and this location, seemed like a bargain. Breakfast was basic and as advertised. Don’t expect anything luxurious, but meets all normal expectations for a nice motel.

If you like thieves and...
Liked: I liked the location, even with the fog. It was close to stores and town.
Disliked: Firstly, my credit card info was stolen and charges were attempted after my stay at this hotel and ONLY after staying here. So that’s kind of major. Secondly, the person at the desk was weirdly unpleasant for every interaction. For no apparent reason. Thirdly, the room STANK and was so full of intense room spray that I had a major allergic reaction to it. We literally could not sleep because we couldn’t breathe. Imagine walking through the perfume counter area in a store, then magnify it by 10000. Fourthly, no real insulation from sound so it was night of wheezing while listening to traffic and our neighbor’s snores. Over all, -1000/10. Will never, ever stay there again let alone let them near my credit card info again.
