Overpriced Accommodations

Liked: The only positive was the view of Whiteface - however had to stay inside since music blasting until 9pm by owner and his dogs running loose.
Disliked: Room smelled musty and did not seem clean. There was still a sock in the bathroom from a previous visitor and toilet paper colored on. Owner was playing loud music (opera/classical) outside until 9pm. Owner's dogs were freely roaming forcing us to stay inside with ours. The pictures are outdated. There is no pool and a lot of extra stuff around the property making it feel trashy. Definitely overpriced for amenities and quality. Had the price reflected the condition, this would not be a complaint, We were suppose to stay two nights, we high-tailed out of there at 6am.

I enjoyed the comfort, location...

Liked: The location to Lake Placid was perfect. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful!
Disliked: I didn't get breakfast there. There was no pan in my kitchenette to use. I thought there would be more appliances available to use to cook, but that wasn't the case. There should be a clearer post that there aren't any laundry facilities at the Ledge Rock, so people can plan accordingly.
