Comfortable stay, but not stellar

The building entrance was beautiful...

Disappointing

Liked: Front desk staff was great.
Disliked: Sheets were stained. Carpet felt damp. Shower and bathroom floor was dirty. Lamp kept shorting out. Room felt sticky.

I hate I wasted money...

Liked: Sadly not one thing so it's impossible to write 2 or 3 sentences
Disliked: I'm honestly shocked there’s no elevator. My bag is way too heavy to be dragging up all those stairs. I was in the room for maybe two hours—most of which I spent inspecting how dirty it was and taking pictures. For the price I paid, I could’ve stayed at a Super 8 and had a much cleaner experience. I’m extremely disappointed. It’s obvious the housekeeping staff is just clocking in for a paycheck, not actually doing their jobs.

At one time a nice...

Liked: Room was large and the front desk worker was nice.
Disliked: Security door was broken so no security in the building. Parking lot is sketchy. Amount of room light is minimal.

Very nice stay.

Liked: Hotel staff were exceptional. Entry and atrium are really lovely. We stayed on first floor, which was quiet, especially with rooms above. Only noise was from trains at wee hours in morning. The bed was very comfy and pillows too.
Disliked: The furniture really needs to be shellac to make it glow. Wood tones are fine. they just need attention to finish.

Liked: The rooms were clean and spacious.
Disliked: The breakfast was not what we expected and there wasn’t much for my kids unfortunately.
