Disappointing Stay — Not Quite...

Liked: I like the localisation of the property, at the perimeter of the old town and 5 mins walk from the marina.
Disliked: I booked a Skipper room based on the photos on Booking.com, which showed a nice sea view. Upon check-in, I discovered that the Skipper rooms were located on the second floor, and I started to doubt whether the view would meet my expectations. The staff were very friendly and kindly upgraded me to a room on the third floor.Unfortunately, the view still wasn’t great. My night was also quite disturbed, as the hotel is located next to a bar where loud shouting continued past 1 a.m.I had considered having breakfast at the hotel, but when I saw that it cost €24, I chose to eat elsewhere.Although this hotel is rated 4 stars, my overall experience felt more in line with a 3-star stay.

Terrific hotel with attractive decor...

Liked: Location was terrific, right across the street from the museum. The food was excellent and exceeded my expectations. Staff were also incredibly nice, friendly and helpful.
Disliked: I found the parking quite stressful. It’s very difficult to run into the hotel on a one- way street (without parking) to race inside and ask for a parking pass. And finding the garage was tricky as there was a bollard blocking the road. We got there in the end though!

Comfortable hotel with helpful friendly...

Liked: A comfortable hotel very close to the port with its bars and restaurants. Very helpful staff and very clean. Didnt use the restaurant but it looked good from a distance.
Disliked: Nothing

Very good

Liked: The hotel is in a good location close to the harbour side and also we went to see rugby and the ground is only 5-10 minutes up the road . The hotel is very comfortable with lovely furnishings.
Disliked: Our room had a mezzanine floor for the bed the stairs to it were wooden and a little steep .
