Disliked: Our air conditioner did not work in our room, so was very uncomfortable.

Great place to stay

Liked: The house and neighbourhood are beautiful. 20-25 mins walking from downtown and pedestrian mall. The breakfast was delicious (omelette, toasts, muffins, oatmeal, a little bit of fruit, tea or coffee). The staff are extremely kind. Bedroom and bathroom were clean.
Disliked: The bedroom and bathroom were tiny, but not at an uncomfortable level. I stayed one night and it was enough. Also, there were too many cables on the floor. The air conditioner did its job, but it isn't quiet. I'd have liked more fruit and stronger coffee for breakfast. The bathroom needs more shelves.

Liked: The staff make the experience memorable and the breakfasts were wonderful. Good variety and a lovely dining room setting to share either other guests.
Disliked: The room set up is odd. Bathroom is exposed as part of the suite with hot tub, shower and sink all exposed either no privacy. The toilet is in a tiny closet where your knees hit the door when sitting. Did not like this feature. Bed was not comfortable. Kitchenette was nice and separate entrance to parking area was convenient.

Liked: Very comfortable - and large - rooms in a fascinating house situated within walking distance of downtown St John’s.The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and the breakfasts were excellent.
Disliked: Everything was absolutely fine.
