Liked: I enjoyed a very pleasant four night break over Easter at Leadon House Hotel. I was well looked after and appreciated the great breakfasts. This was the ideal location for a bicycling break as there are plenty of unspoiled roads all around.

A truly unusually generous-spirited experience...

Liked: We had two rooms with bathrooms. One very large room has a main road running nearby but is compensated by being furnished with an enormous four poster bed and two comfortable chairs and a table which makes it more like a suite of rooms!. The other room, though smaller, is quieter as it looks onto the garden behind the house. Both rooms have tea and coffee facilities with a mini fridge containing plenty of milk. The bathrooms are generously stocked with toiletries including bath cap, for which I was very grateful as I'd forgotten mine. Most of all our hosts wee exceptionally delightful, warm, welcoming and helpful and their breakfast was fresh,plentiful and delicious. A truly exceptional experience as the atmosphere was one of generosity and welcome - unusual these days, where money-making is too often the only goal.I am almost loathe to recommend this hotel as it is such a gem!
Disliked: There was noting I didn't like - perhaps the driveway where I parked was a bit cramped but that was because the hotel was full!
