Comfortable but room and bathroom...

Liked: Breakfast and dinner were fair
Disliked: Room was very tired especially the bathroom so disappointing for the price. Needs to be updated

Liked: Lovely room which was very clean with nice little touches . Staff are lovely and massage was amazing.
Disliked: The food is a bit basic ,just pub food available now ,whereas a few years ago they had a lovely a la carte restaurant .The spa changing rooms could do with an update and the spa staff never answer the phone .The relaxation room could do with some music and day beds as it is a bit barren.

A lovely night stay with...

Liked: It was really nice to sit outside in the beer garden and enjoy the warm weather to the sound of golf balls being zipped through the air on the driving range next to us. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the option of spending time in the pool, jacuzzi and sauna etc, even after check out was wonderful.
Disliked: It was a shame that we weren't able to book any treatments while we were staying as the sessions were booked out. The hotel has a very unusual layout so it was quite far to our rooms and then we got lost every time we tried to head to the restaurant etc.

Stunning on the outside but...

Liked: The rooms are big & having a walk in shower was great in my eyes.The outside of the hotel is stunning on the outside.The staff were friendly.
Disliked: In desperate need of freshen up.The restaurant menu didn’t live up to what seemed a healthy environment eg. Lack of vegetarian & vegetables.A proper good deep clean required & basically a whole facelift.The mattress was uncomfortable & the pillows need to be replaced. (Unless they are different softness - hardness).Walls are thin.I didn’t realise it was a dog friendly hotel so there was a few dogs, even one barking through the night.
