Liked: Mia met us when we arrived, helped get luggage up the stairs from the street & helped entry to room to drop luggage. She was very friendly with advice on places to eat. The room was surprisingly spacious and very nice bath. Snacks available on 2nd floor was welcome when arrived & morning of departure. I emailed the property 2 or 3 times & the response was within minutes. :)

Overall a very good experience,...

Liked: Location, location, location. Close to metro, with many bars and restaurants in close vicinity. The staff was most gracious and responded to messages, immediately. The room was very clean and quite large, (third floor), lots of stairs.
Disliked: The sofa bed was NOT comfortable at all. I requested extra padding for the bed, which was placed on the bed the following morning. This made it better, yet it still was not very comfortable. Breakfast was ok, consisting of yogurts, fruit, protein bars, cookies, teas and coffee.

Liked: Great location on a pedestrian street with restaurants, shops, and bars. Easy to visit points of interest and use public transit. The room was clean and comfortable and a welcome refuge on a hot summer day. Surprisingly quiet given its proximity to busy restaurants – good noise reduction. The breakfast snacks were much appreciated.
Disliked: The room was a bit small, but met our needs for a quick visit.

Great room option for small...

Liked: Self-check in was easy. We reserved a room with a pull-out sofa, and it was set up nicely as a bed - much appreciated that as we checked in late. The location is excellent, close to McGill and UQAM, lots of cafes, restos on the street. The room was spacious, the shower was great, and the bed was comfortable. We were on a busy street, but couldn't hear the noise.
Disliked: There is no parking (street blocked for pedestrians at night), so we had to park a few blocks away and walk. It wasn't a problem because we were only staying for one night and had backpacks, but if you have luggage, must take this into consideration. It is a self-check-in hotel, so if there are any problems, you will not have immediate service (but we had no problems!). It was expensive for one night, no breakfast ($440) but maybe that is the going rate in Montreal?
