Very good
Liked: Overall, we loved Le Petit Pali! The location is great and made walking downtown easy. It's a motel vibe, but very updated and has a very cute aesthetic. The room was comfy, if a little small with our big dog. We booked our stay very last minute, so there wasn't a lot available, but we'd probably opt for a bigger room next time. Everything in the room was clean and seemed brand new. The Diptyque bathroom amenities were such a nice touch. The fun bonus touches like complimentary sparkling rosé on arrival, and the daily cookie delivery, just made our stay feel even more special. I found myself really looking forward to the cookies! The breakfast was delicious, loved the local pastries and the La Fermière yogurt. I saw some other reviews say that they were just refilling the La Fermière containers with other yogurt, but they seem to have fixed this because these were unopened new containers. Yum! And, of course we loved that the hotel was dog friendly. There is a pet fee (flat $140 for your stay) so just be mindful when booking. They have a weight limit of 35 pounds on their website, but I called in advance and they take bigger dogs as long as they are well-behaved.
Disliked: The parking lot is small-- we didn't have any trouble, but if you are arriving late at night, you may have difficulty parking. The lot was always full by about 7 PM.The breakfast setup was a little weird, and we only went once because of this even though the food was good. There's very little seating, only 2 tables inside and then 6 or so tables outside. It was busiest around 10 AM, so maybe go earlier if you want to get a table, because people also tended to linger. The nook where the breakfast is served is very small, so if multiple people were there it was crowded and took quite a while to serve yourself. The coffee and mimosas/champagne are great, but the beverage service was slow. We had finished eating before we got our coffee. If you stuck around long enough at breakfast, they left a tip envelope on the table, which I thought was a little odd and kind of tacky.
