A very good location, spoilt...

Disliked: Breakfast was very basic and one morning ran out. The location was very good, but at present there was a lot of road constriction right outside. It was not accessible by car and the sidewalks were also affected and awkward and uneven for pedestrians.

I would've liked to be...

Disliked: The construction and noise. The hallways always had empty cups and plates on the floor the whole day or cleaning carts blocking the way to the elevators

Disliked: The street is presently under construction so access with luggage was terrible

Liked: Great location, friendly staff, nice room.
Disliked: Construction on the street, but it wasn't a problem. Montreal has a lot going on including construction.

Very good

Liked: This hotel is great for people who want to be in the heart of the town. The hotel doesn’t come with free parking. Breakfast is included, and you always have access to coffee and hot beverages with snacks, which is good. If only the breakfast area was a little bigger,it could be more convenient as it gets busy in the morning

Disliked: We arrived to find the hotel was over booked and they sent us to their “sister property”.

Find somewhere else to stay

Liked: The young staff did very well considering the management obviously skimps on everything. Threadbare towels, no bathroom amenities like cups, shower caps, one vanity kit for 3 nights, no hot water at 5:00 am when we were leaving for an early flight.
Disliked: This hotel retains $100 US per night and doesn't release it for 10 business days after departure. We still haven't received our refund and it's 12 days. The street is under construction and so you need to cart your luggage blocks on uneven sidewalks. They promised a valet to help but we waited 20 minutes in the rain and he never came, we finally hoofed our luggage 3 blocks to the hotel. The staff was very good, I felt bad for them because there was no support staff. The supervisor only works weekends. I felt this hotel was a step sister to the Gray Luxury brand.
