Liked: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Unique and interesting history; the staff was courteous, friendly and attentive. We would highly recommended this hotel to anyone traveling to New Orleans.

Disappointing - 2.25 out of 5

Daniel Mon, 13 February 2017

Liked: Friendly Staff
Disliked: From the start, our room was referred to as 'classic ' from the Bellman. The construction going on is needed i am sure, just did not think i would be in it. The fumes were strong but ok to tolerate The room was not clean, Pink Mold in the shower, no tub-only shower available. Someone left me their opened Chex Mix in the side table. I had kicked my shoes under the bed and when i went to get them i came up with woman's slippers, make up brush, random skittles and unopened condoms, thank goodness it was unopened, still not cool at all. I stepped on a sheet rock screw from the construction, that was ok since it held up the drain cover on the sink to it would drain. All said, do not go by pictures of guest rooms, they do not show the rooms with ripped curtains like mine.,

Liked: Pam at the lobby bar was just wonderful - a real ambassador for the city! And makes a great Cosmopolitan!

John Sun, 5 February 2017

Liked: Great old hotel close to everything
Disliked: I took shuttle in, but I heard parking is $49.00 a day

Poor - 1.9 out of 5

Son Thu, 2 February 2017

Liked: Staffs in breakfast restaurant were very friendly and nice
Disliked: Water pipe was busted and off for over 12 hours from 5PM to 6:30 AM. We came to the room from dinner. Couldn't use bathroom. Other than that renovations for the floors, stairs and floors were everywhere. This hotel also need better front desk service. Horrible with a small laptop. Only one staff and slow

Excellent - 4.4 out of 5

Warren Thu, 2 February 2017

Liked: The bed was really comfortable.
Disliked: A little noisy. They did not have my reservation the first night that we arrived. We ended up looking for a room at 10:30 at night. Of course the LePavillion blamed the booking company and the booking company blamed LePavillion.

Very Good - 4.15 out of 5

John Thu, 26 January 2017

Liked: The roof top pool is very nice and has an excellent view of the business district. The have a new assistant chef who makes the best crab cakes we have ever had. Small but comfortable room with excellent king size bed.
Disliked: Hotel was undergoing some renovation work during our stay and workers were transporting furniture in the passenger elevators. Shower was cold but only on morning of check out.

Excellent - 4.4 out of 5

Nola Tue, 24 January 2017

Liked: This is an extraordinary, historic facility but a little schizophrenic, ie: the lobby, bar and restaurant are beautiful and well maintained but some rooms and floors are tired and some are under renovation. Note: The eighth and ninth floors were nicely redone and a good value. We would return again.
Disliked: Our room on 9th was fine, but other family members on 6h floor had to be relocated up to (newly renovated) 8th floor due to 6th floor room conditions (inoperative lights/phone and noise from next floor work underway). Housekeeping had scheduling issues. Our room was not ready at check-in, so we waited in lobby. On a subsequent day housekeeping did not come until after 5pm to service the room. Our other family members room received no cleaning at all, their second day. Possibly their "relocated" room/info had been dropped.

Pleasant - 3.35 out of 5

Kirsten Tue, 17 January 2017

Liked: The bed was great and location too
Disliked: Almost didn't have a room, couldn't check in till 11pm... the toilet screamed all night and they were demoing next door in the AM. very loud. We were comp't for 2 drinks. Had they gotten the whole bill while we waited for our room I would have been happier, I guess. Nice, historical place. Slightly hellish experience with the noise.

Mark Sun, 15 January 2017

Liked: Room was comfortable, quiet and dark. Had a great sleep.
Disliked: Restaurant was awful. Slow service, no attention to details. Charged for breakfast buffet that wasn't refilled... I had to pick at the dregs even though it was only 8 AM.
