Le Parc at Melrose

Found this hotel in Google and it exceeded all my expectations - very clean. Staff was very friendly. Huge suites. Will definitely stay there again.

Disliked: Valet parking too expensive at $65 per day. Third party parking 10min walk away in 8516 W Sunset Boulevard Parking for $18 per day.

Liked: Good location, big room
Disliked: It felt insanely outdated. The elevators smelled and took forever to come. The bathroom was really weird - I had to step a full big step down into the tub? As in, it was built into the ground. Which was really slippery and kind of dangerous and the bathroom was really small so it couldn’t be for ADA purposes. The room was v large which was nice but there are no overhead lights anywhere near the bedroom or even the living room (only one by the kitchen) so it was pretty hard to get any light without walking to every corner of the room to turn on a switch. It touts 4 stars but was giving a max of 3, just an overall swing and a miss for me.

Cool place, great staff, wonderful...

Liked: Clean, trendy and so well located. Good quiet street and neighbourhood. Central to much of what we did in LA. Staff were great (kids loved Otto!). Rooftop area is fantastic- pool, plenty of relaxed shaded seating, bar, and tennis court!
Disliked: Not much. But to be picky had to valet park the car and at extra cost. It’s LA, it’s expensive.
