Completely fantastic.

Liked: It was very chic, with an intimate feeling . The rooms were not small but they felt cozy. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast came quickly. The coffee, tea and fruit salad were perfect. great wheat bread and croissants. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful.We will definitely stay there when we come back tomorrow Bordeaux.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing.

Nice hotel, but not worth...

Liked: Lovely old hotel on a quiet street - about a 15min walk from the city centre. Comfy bed and nice amenities in room - tea, coffee, water, snacks etc. Very clean and nightly turndown service. Nice, bright room with a balcony overlooking the street. We were celebrating a birthday there and the staff went all out to decorate the room and add some extras to make it special.
Disliked: Hotel was noisy at night - we had a room directly above the reception/entrance and next to the lift - the noise really travelled. Quite a small room compared to other 5 or even 4* hotels, and the bathroom was in the main bedroom, separated only by a thin curtain which you’d pull across when showering. Even stranger - the toilet door was seethrough, meaning you could see someone when they were on the toilet!? No privacy, soundproofing or ventilation from the toilet or shower, and for this reason I wouldn’t stay there again. Expensive extras eg parking, breakfast, use of pool and sauna (although from what I understand the latter 2 is normal for Bordeaux hotels)
